Devanshi is a strong proponent of female empowerment through Chess, Stem Education, and Social Advocacy. She has 6 years of experience playing recreational and competitive chess. She participated in several scholastic and open tournaments during elementary school including All Girls National Championships and K-12 SuperNationals at Nashville. Her latest one is inter high schools- Eagle Chess Tournament where she won the championship award in the individual section. Aria is a competitive chess player with 10 years of playing experience and 2 years of teaching experience. She represented the United States in the World Youth Championships in 2017 and 2018 and won the 2019 U-16 All Girls National Championships. This past February, as one of the few female chess team captains in Illinois, Aria led her team to a state championship! Aria also loves teaching chess and recently finished teaching a 6 week beginner program. She hopes to encourage more girls to play chess and to help them connect to other girls in chess through initiatives like The Chess Queens!
